The Most Classical British Style is Here!
The season for British traditional style has arrived!
The 2024 fall/winter season is full of topics about the UK, such as the reunion of the legendary rock band Oasis and the release of a collaboration item between Tokito, a brand created by Japan's world-renowned designer Tokito Yoshida, and the well-known Barbour, for the first time in 15 years. That's why this month's issue of 2nd features the UK for the first time in a while! We'll be introducing a wide range of products from the UK, including outfits made from tweed and corduroy, which are representative of the UK, a catalog of items you can buy now, British classics such as quilted jackets, duffle coats, and Fair Isle sweaters, and brown suede shoes, which are indispensable for British style. If you think about it, the American traditional style that 2nd loves can be traced back to British men's clothing, so British traditional style is a style that anyone who loves clothes should definitely have. This book will serve as a reference for how to dress for the coming season when the harsh heat of summer is over and fashion will be even more fun, so be sure to pick it up!

Get your hands on some of Saito Hisao's favorite British items!
We have received news that Saito Hisao of TUBE, who has often appeared in the pages of 2nd magazine, will be holding a flea market on October 26th and 27th! We were given a sneak peek at the exquisite items that will be on display at the event, which will be a delight for not only Saito's fans but also for genuine fashion lovers, so we have picked out some of them and will introduce them to you. There is a full lineup of Saito's real wardrobe that will make you ask, "You were wearing these normally until recently, weren't you?" In line with the theme of this special feature, we are introducing British items such as a 1960s Balmacaan coat from Burberry and a leather jacket from Levi's made in the UK.
Special feature to celebrate the reunion of Oasis: The coolness of staying the same, as taught by
"Parka Monkey" Liam CarragherOasis, who debuted in 1991 and quickly rose to the status of a global rock band, announced their breakup in 2009, but reunited on August 27th this year. This is a special feature to commemorate this big news. Liam Carragher, who runs his own fashion brand and is nicknamed "Parka Monkey" for his love of parkas, spoke to Hideaki Miyahara, a pattern designer at Rhino, a true Oasis lover, to unravel the essence of his style. "It's not stylish, but it's cool." We asked him to tell us why he feels that way.
. 2nd has dealt with a lot of vintage clothing through past features and serialization in every issue, and is interested in not only American vintage clothing but also European vintage clothing. Several years have passed since the boom in European vintage clothing, and the number of vintage items, which were the main focus until now, has decreased, leading to a continued rise in prices. However, vintage clothing store owners who are still attracted to European vintage clothing and continue to sell it say that vintage clothing from the 80s and onwards is now interesting! So, we asked four vintage clothing store owners to appear and introduce their recommended items for each category, such as "military," "work," and "outdoor."
