ISSUE VOL. 206

This month's issue of "Second" features select shops. From Miyagi in the north to Kagoshima in the south, "Second" introduces a total of 28 excellent select shops from all over Japan that have been carefully selected by the magazine. In " INDEPENDENT STORE for trad men ," the editorial team introduces 12 stores that they have actually visited and interviewed . The selections that reflect the individuality of the owners are a must-see. And in "Summer trad recommendations from regular trad shops," we asked select shops that "Second" frequents to share their recommended styling for this summer. The first feature is all about shops, including the 10th anniversary party of "Colony Clothing" held in Singapore and an introduction to a leather shoe shop in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. The second feature is "Solid bags, trad for summer," which introduces bags that trad fans should have. This July/August combined issue is packed with projects, from introducing recommended bags for this summer to interviewing fashionistas' first-choice bags and their contents. Please take a look.

The highlight of this issue's special feature on select shops is "INDEPENDENT STORE for trad men". It's nice to casually shop online, but it's still fun to actually visit a store and enjoy the owner's unique interior. For this feature, we asked 12 trusted trad lovers of Second to recommend select shops, and the editorial team of Second visited the stores and interviewed them. The photo shows Eureka Factory Heights in Gifu, a hometown recommended by Ota Kazuki, manager of the famous Nakameguro store Bamboo Shoot. The charm of the store is the love for the hometown of the owner Kobayashi and the high-quality selection. In addition to this, we introduce 11 other excellent select shops from all over Japan, from Miyagi in the north to Kagoshima in the south.
